IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To dispense with a manual insertion tray by providing a manual paper feeding passage, through which a manual insertion sheet material inserted from a manual paper feeding port provided in the top surface of an image forming device main body is slid to a pair of resist rollers provided in the upstream of an image forming unit. CONSTITUTION:A manual paper feeding port 31 is arranged in the top surface of an image forming device main body 2, and a manual insertion sheet material S, which is inserted and fallen from this manual paper feeding port 31, passes through between guide plates 32A, 32B and guide plates 32C, 32D, and guide plate 32C, 32E in order, and arrives a pair of resist rollers 7. In a manual paper feeding passage 32 having such a structure, a loop forming unit 33 for forming loop of the manual insertion sheet S, which has arrived in the pair of resist rollers 7 under the condition that the rolling thereof is stopped is provided. Even a large size sheet material S can be manually inserted without using a manual insertion tray.
