Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a so-called hybrid air bag inflator of an automobile with a capsule as a unit body having a small capacity and mounted in a pressure tank used for filling gas into an air bag. CONSTITUTION: A switch 31 has a sealed capsule storing gas having a threshold pressure, and this capsule has a flexible thin film 46 fixed on a fixed upper plate body 47 and is supported by a mandrel 35 mounted on a switch main body. Central recessed parts 36 are provided in the switch main body and the mandrel, a movable piston 37 is guided therein and mounted thereon, and this piston holds a switch contact member at a normally opened position until air bag gas pressure is reduced below operable reference pressure which is determined in advance. (At this time, the switch contact member reaches a closed position to display a failure or non-operation).
