Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To automatically prepare CAM information based on CAD information by providing a frame system including frames representing each tool routine for a work object in a model for the knowledge of an AI tool. CONSTITUTION:The CAD/CAM coupling system is equipped with a CAD system 1 preparing the CAD information of a work object, an AI tool 2 converting the aforesaid CAD information into CAM information, and with a CAM system 3 converting CAM information into each NC code based on mechanical set information. Both the CAD system 1 and the AI tool 2 are operated over a work station, and the CAM system 3 is operated over a personal computer. The knowledge base of the AI tool 2 is equipped with a frame system including a first frame representing a tool routine for a work object in a model. This constitution thereby enables CAM information to be automatically prepared based on CAD information.
