Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a probe having a probe head part rotatable smoothly and more uniformly. CONSTITUTION:The probe comprises a probe body section 1 incorporating a motor and a slip ring, a probe head section 3 arranged with an eddy current probe, and a coupling section 2a for transmitting the rotation of motor from the probe body section to the probe head section 3 wherein the probe head section 3 is moved in the axial direction while rotating in order to inspect a pipe. The coupling section 2a comprises a hollow shaft 13 having union couplings 4 fixed at the opposite end thereof and arranging a chain of aligning members 5 in the outer periphery thereof.
