Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To easily automate a firm tying by which reinforcing bars, etc., can be tied by one winding of double wires by automatically bending a continuous wire form tying material, the constitution of which is extremely simple, and which is light-weight, and can provide a strong tying force. CONSTITUTION:While feeding out a continuous wire form tying material W, the tying material is formed into an almost U-shape by a U-shape forming mechanism 3. After forming the U-shape, the tying material W is formed into a hair pin shape by a width-contracting means 5 on the way to a surrounding guide 36. Then, the tying material W is guided around an article to be tied under an adjoined two wire condition. The two wires are twisted from the bent head part side and/or the rear end part side, and made into one twisted wire. Then, the article to be tied is tied by stranding up the bent head part and rear end part by a stranding up mechanism 7.
