SPEED DISPLAY DEVICE FOR GRASS MOWING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To easily judge the proper car speed even by an unskilled operator and vary the car speed on the basis of the judgement, by controlling the proper speed range display part and the improper speed range display part of a display zone within the speed display range of the display surface on the basis of the inputted traveling condition information. CONSTITUTION:An index 9 for displaying the traveling speed of a machine body is installed so as to be shiftable for the speed scale on a display surface, and a display zone 12 equipped with a proper speed range display part 12a for displaying that the traveling speed displayed by the index 9 is in a proper state and the improper speed range display parts 12b and 12c for displaying that the traveling speed is not in a proper state is installed on the display surface. A display control means which controls the proper speed range display part 12a and the improper speed range display parts 12b and 12c of the display zone 12 so as to be changed in the speed display range of the display surface on the basis of the inputted traveling condition information is installed. Accordingly, the car speed is kept in a proper state, and grass cutting work can be carried out favourably.
