RADIO CONTROL CHANNEL SEARCH METHOD AND PORTABLE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To provide the digital portable communication terminal capable of radio control channel search in the inside of the service area of plural entrepreneur groups in a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION:The IDROM of the portable terminal stores home network information 1a, home network perch channel information 1b, network information 2a of the visit destination belonging to the other subscriber entrepreneur group, and perch channel information 2b of the network at the visit destination in addition to the network information of a roaming approval area and the perch channel information of that network. First of all, the catching of a radio control channel is tried by performing scanning corresponding to the home network information 1a and the home network perch channel information and when the catching is disabled, the catching of the radio control channel is executed by performing scanning corresponding to the network information 2a of the visit destination and the perch channel information 2b of that network.
