LIGHTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To improve water-proofing performance, and prevent position deflection of a cover by providing plural flexible seal members between a flange part of an apparatus main body and a frame part of a cover body for sealing between the apparatus main body and the cover body. CONSTITUTION:A first flexible seal member 63 is disposed between a flange part 51 of an apparatus main body 37 and a frame part 61 of a cover body 39, and a second flexible seal member 65 is disposed between the first seal member 63 and a vertical wall part 3. The first seal member 63 is formed to have a cross section which is long in the direction of the surface of the flange part 51 in a rectangular cross sectional form, and the second seal member 65 is formed to be long in the direction of the surface of the vertical wall part 53 and sort in the perpendicular direction to it, with an abutting part 67 formed at a forward end part for an outer circumferential end surface 61a of the frame part 61 to be applied. The first seal member 63 is bound to the inner surface of the flange part 51 by binding agent 69, and the second seal member 65 is bound to the inner surface of the flange part 51 by binding agent 71. Water-proofing performance between the apparatus main body 37 and the cover body 39 is thus improved, and position deflection of the cover body 39 can also be prevented.
