INFORMATION INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To detect an unexpected misoperation that causes an unusual action and to supply only the desired information by adding an input action monitoring means to an information input device to monitor the actions of an operator caused by his input operations. CONSTITUTION:An input action monitoring part 3 is provided in addition to an input part 1 which is used for the normal operations. The input information supplied from the part 1 and the input action monitoring information given from the part 3 are supplied to an input validity deciding part 5 which decides the validity of input information based on a prescribed procedure. Based on this deciding result, an input control part 7 controls the output that is applied to a processing part 9. The part 9 carries out the normal input processing such as recognition of characters, etc. That is, the part 3 monitors the input actions and combines the input information given from the part 1 with its own input action monitoring information to decide whether the input actions are proper or not.
