Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To efficiently and uniformly clean a band-shaped metallic sheet to form a coating film excellent in adhesion. CONSTITUTION:Soil is removed by irradiating a surface to be cleaned with ultraviolet ray in a vacuum to excite the soil by light. And this device is provided with a structure for controlling arranging positions of plural light sources 6 and the input to the light sources 6 based on the signal of light receiving sensors 7. Because the soil is removed without rising the temp. of the band- shaped metallic sheet, the coating film containing a low m.p. material is prevented from being reevaporated and the device is stabilized over a long term. And the adhesion of the coating film is uniformalized.
