Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain an organic thin film with an improved orientation property by allowing at least one layer of an organic thin film with a multilayer structure having two or more layers to contain a specific dibenzophthalocyanine compound. CONSTITUTION:In an organic thin film with a double-layer structure, 2,3:12,13- dibenzophthalocyanine compound in a structure whose at least one layer is shown by the formula is contained, wherein M represents a metal, an oxide metal, or H2. It is desirable to apply the vacuum deposition method as a method for preparing the organic thin film. Since 2,3:12,13-dibenzophthalocyanine compound is sublimated by heating, and is deposited on a substrate surface, an orientation thin film can be prepared without introducing a long-chain substituent which is performed by the LB method or without searching for a solvent needed by the cast method. When manufacturing a multilayer thin film, the film can be prepared continuously under clean conditions within vacuum by a vacuum deposition device with two or more evaporation sources.
