SAFETY SWITCH

PURPOSE:To provide a safety switch simultaneously lock controllable in a plurality of safety covers or the like to provide a large degree of mounting freedom and further to form a lock device in a double lock constitution. CONSTITUTION:In the center part of a switch main unit 1, a lock member 3 for locking/unlocking an operating key 30, inserted into this switch main unit 1, is slidably provided. A switch device 9, actuated in accordance with sliding action of the lock member 3 at the time of locking/unlocking the operating key 30, is provided in the lower part of this lock member 3. A detent member 20, for positioning the lock member 3 in a lock position of the operating key by inserting action of a bringing key 27 into an upper part of the switch main unit l and also the lock member 3 in an unlock position of the operating key 30 by drawing out action of the bringing key 27, is provided. A control device 34 capable of fixing and opening the detent member 20, positioned in the lock position, communicates with the detent member 20.
