Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the in-car ticket inspection system which makes ticket inspecting operation in cars efficient and enables the effective utilization of seats. CONSTITUTION:The in-car ticket inspection system consists of plural ground systems which are connected in a network through a communication line 8 and an on-train system which is installed on a moving train; and each ground system is equipped with a seat reservation information read means 1, a seat reservation information storage means 2, a ticket information transmitting and receiving means 7 which is connected through the communication line 8, train number inquiring and receiving means 4 and 6, a train seat reservation information retrieval means 3, and a train seat reservation information transmitting means 6 and the on-train system, on the other hand, is equipped with train number transmitting means 9 and 12, a train seat reservation information receiving means 9, a train seat reservation information storage means 10, and a train seat reservation information display means 11.
