Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To automatically change over the engaging direction of ratchet claws, in a climbing device moving up and down by alternately meshing the ratchet claws of the upper and lower ratchet units into the holes of lifter rails 11. CONSTITUTION:Levers 7 having mutually different insertion long holes 8 are fitted to upper and lower ratchet units 1A, 1B respectively. And the shaft 6 attached at the spring 3 of a ratchet claw is inserted in the long hole 8. The shaft 6 contacts both sides of long hole 8 and changes automatically the direction of ratchet claw 2.
