METHOD FOR REGENERATING CATALYST FILTER

PURPOSE:To restore a catalyst filter and to regenerate the filter by rotating the deactivated cylindrical filter, spraying a catalytic component from the side face and simultaneously hot from the side face on the opposited side to coat the outer face of the filter with the catalytic component. CONSTITUTION:A deactivated cylindrical catalyst filter 1 is clamped by a fixing jig 2, fixed to a rack 3 provided with a motor 4 and rotated at a constant speed. A catalytic component-contg. slurry is sprayed from one side face of the filter 1, and simultaneously hot air is sent from the other side face by a fan heater to dry the slurry. The waste drying gas G is discharged outside the system from a hood 6, and the falling slurry is received by a pan 5. The catalyst filter with the denitrification efficiency decreased to 50% is regenerated by the similar method by using a catalytic component-contg. slurry, the efficiency is increased to 85%, and the catalyst filter is completely restored.
