CUTTING SPEED CHANGING APPARATUS OF COMBINE

PURPOSE:To provide a cutting speed changing apparatus having a simple structure and enabling the light operation in a combine whose working machine is driven by a different transmission system from that of a running driving system. CONSTITUTION:This cutting speed changing apparatus has the following construction. A half arm 21a of a cutting speed-change arm 21 rocking in a seesaw like manner centering a rotation-supporting shaft 20 is engaged with the end of a linkage member 17 connected to a cutting speed-change lever 13 and the cutting speed-change arm 21 is switchable between a speed-change transmission position and a neutral position by the operation of the cutting speed-change lever 13. Further, the other arm 21b of the cutting speed-change arm 21 is placed between the face-to-face arms of a cross linkage 24 and when the face-to- face arms of the cross linkage 24 are closed by the shift of the running speed- change lever 11 to the neutral position, the cutting speed-change arm 21 is shifted to the neutral position, and contrarily, when the face-to-face arms of the cross linkage are opened by the shift of running speed-change lever 11 to the speed-change region, the cutting speed-change arm 21 is automatically returned to the speed-change transmission position.
