TRANSFORMER FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To enhance the cooling performance by providing a heat-exchange fin exposing to the outside of a blocking plate to a part or on the side face of a transformer body. CONSTITUTION:A blocking plate 8 opposing the lower part of a transformer body 1 secured to the floor beam 10 of a vehicle is opened partially and a heat-exchange fin 13 extending along the traveling direction of the vehicle is provided on the lower surface of the transformer body 1. The heat-exchange fin 13 is exposed to the outside through an opening of the blocking plate 8. Since the lowering of discharge performance of transformer cooling air is compensated for, in addition to the forced oil cooling, and the forced air cooling effect is increased with the increase of vehicle speed, a vehicle transformer having enhanced cooling performance can be realized without impeding the desirable weight reduction.
