Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a CPU on the side of a host computer for data communication with a voice synthesizer and to surely exchange data. CONSTITUTION:The host computer checks a control state report register CSR when there is a transmission request, and writes the transmitting data in a transmission/reception register DBR, the voice synthesizer inputs the data of this register in an input document buffer with write to this transmission/ reception register as interruption and reloads the contents of the control state report register, and the voice synthesizer discriminates whether the data of the transmission/reception register are transmitted data from the host computer or returned data by deciding whether they are null or not, inputs the data and reloads the control state report register by checking the input document buffer.
