AUTOMATIC NC DATA GENERATING DEVICE FOR SHEET METAL PARTS

PURPOSE:To provide an automatic data generating device which can acquire the stable NC data on the sheet metal parts and also can extremely reduce the processing time and the processing labor. CONSTITUTION:An automatic data generating device is provided with a knowledge base 6 related to the two-dimensional expansion, a shape data expansion means 4 which produces the two-dimensional expansion data from the three- dimensional shape data on the sheet metal parts, a knowledge base 9 related to the two-dimensional expansion data and the recognition of shapes, a machining shape recognizing means 7, a knowledge base 13 related to the arrangement of machining jigs, a machining jig data base 14, a machining jig arrangement pattern deciding means 10, a knowledge base 17 related to the decision of the machining jigs, a machining jig arrangement pattern and a machining path, a machining path deciding means 15, etc. Furthermore a data editing means 18 is added to generate the NC data based on those decided machining jig, arrangement pattern of machining jigs and machining path and also on a knowledge base 20 related on the editing of the NC data.
