Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To make the effect of cleaning to be maximum by continuously maintaining contact pressure which is substantially uniformly distributed between a cleaning roller and the outer face of a photoreceptor belt. CONSTITUTION: Since requested pressure which is uniformly distributed, namely, contact force is applied to a photoreceptor 20 by a cleaning brush 102, the cleaning and (or) fretting operation of the cleaning brush 102 on the photoreceptor 20 can be made constant in accordance with the request. The cleaning brush 102 can be used by combining it with a rubber cleaning blade 108. A pressing roller 110 is biased to the photoreceptor 20 by a spring 116 hung to a connection circle 118 at the end of an arm 112. A pin 120 holds the opposite end of the spring 116 in a prescribed position. A rotary shaft 114 transmits the bias force of the spring 16 to the pressing roller 110 and generates requested pressuring force which is uniformly distributed between the cleaning brush 102 and the photoreceptor 20. |
