Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To realize a camera for optical extensometer having a large allowance for the variation in the interval of a plurality of indexes of an object. CONSTITUTION:The camera for optical extensometer comprises an optical system 1 for focusing the images of a plurality of indexes A, B, integral with an object 5 for measuring the extension, on a predetermined plane 4 with a specific magnification, more than two position detectors 2A, 2B, 2C disposed in intimate contact so that the light receiving faces mutually continue corresponding to the elongating direction of the object 5, and a case 3 for holding the focus system 1 and the position detectors 2A, 2B, 2C and immovable with respect to the object at the time of measurement.
