Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve a packing rate of ice produced in an ice storage tank by disposing water supply means for supplying water of a supercooling state above water in the tank after ice is produced in a state in non-contact with the water. CONSTITUTION:A water tube 21 is connected at its one end to one port of a first three-way valve 11 and connected to communicate at the other with a water area of a lower part side of an ice storage tank 1. A tube 23 is connected at its upper end to one port of a second three-way valve 19 and disposed at its lower end in the tank 1 to communicate with a perforated nozzle 25 as water supply means disposed above a water level MS. A temperature of the water to be supplied at this time is set to a supercooling state to produce porous ice K2 to condense sherbetlike ice K. This ice making state is continued to gradually deposit the ice K2 upward on an entire net 28. Thus, compression among ices is enhanced to improve a packing rate in the tank 1.
