Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance work of a sealing member by making an inner peripheral surface of a housing and an outer peripheral surface of a rotor in female and male tapered shapes respectively and moving the rotor in the axial direction by way of maintaining sealing surface pressure constant. CONSTITUTION:As an inner peripheral surface of a housing 2 and an outer peripheral surface of a rotor 8 are respectively formed in tapered shapes, sealing members 24, 28 of the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 8 are formed in a tapered shape as a whole, too. Consequently, even when the state to cause abrasion on the sealing members 24, 28 due to use of a rotary valve and to make a clearance between the inner peripheral surface of the housing 2 and the sealing members 24, 28 due to temperature change is brought about, if the rotor 8 is moved in the axial direction toward the direction to maintain contact surface pressure (sealing surface pressure) between the inner peripheral surface of the housing 2 and the sealing members 24, 28 constant, the tapered sealing members 24, 28 are completely adhered on the inner peripheral surface of the housing 2. Accordingly, it is possible to facilitate maintenance work of the sealing members 24, 28.
