Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a blade type cutting machine, in which a blade can be replaced quickly. CONSTITUTION:A fixed blade holder 23 and a movable blade holder 24 where a blade 3 is installed are arranged opposite to each other on a driving shaft 2. An operating member 26 having a diameter smaller than the inside diameter R of the movable blade holder 24 is disposed on the forward end part of the driving shaft 2 in such a manner as to freely reciprocate along the shaft center of the driving shaft 2, and a holder pressing member 27 which can freely be increased and decreased in diameter is arranged between the operating member 26 and the movable blade holder 24. The operating member 26 is moved in the direction of separating from the forward end part of the driving shaft 2, whereby the holder pressing member 27 is reduced in diameter to be smaller than the inside diameter R of the movable blade holder 24 by a diameter reducing spring 37 to remove the movable blade holder 24 from the driving shaft 24.
