Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To easily execute the control of the drying condition of a mold by grasping the drying condition of a coating layer based on temp. distribution on the mold. CONSTITUTION:The mold 2 is constituted by alternately sticking slurry and refractory particles to the surface of a molding body to form the coating layer. The drying condition of the mold 2 is controlled and then, the temp. distribution of the mold 2 is measured with a thermograph 1. The area of a range having a prescribed temp. or lower is calculated from this measured temp. distribution with an image processor 3, and if the area of this range is the prescribed value or lower, the drying condition of the coating layer is grasped by deciding that the drying of the mold 2 is completed. By this method, the drying condition of each part in the mold can surely and smoothly be grasped.
