GRIPPER FOR UNLOADER

PURPOSE:To grip a metal plate by an unloader gripper without using any driving source and special controller. CONSTITUTION:The gripper 19 is constituted by providing the gripper main body 23 with plural movable upper jaws 29a, 29b and 29c and a fixed lower jaw 28. The main body 23 is mounted on a forward and backward moving table 18 in a vertically swingable state and whose specific posture is maintained by a spring 26. The movable upper jaws 29a, 29b and 29c are freely turnably hung around a horizontal supporting shaft 27 on the same plane and whose lower surfaces are curved so that a wedge effect is generated between the surfaces of them and the upper surface of metal plate on the lower jaw 28. The distance between the lower surface of each of upper jaws and the horizontal supporting shaft 27 is made different from each other to deal with each thickness of the plate.
