Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make it possible to change over slip sheets and to change their width without stopping a line by connecting the slip sheets of the same width at a strip connecting point before a different width connecting section when the time for taking up between the delivery side slip sheet and the standby slide slip sheet and the different width connecting section is shorter than the time for installing the standby side slip sheet. CONSTITUTION:The slip sheet is usually connected to the next standby slip sheet when there are no more remaining slip sheets currently under delivery, but if L1 of equation L1=(11+12- )-Z is shorter than (x) the connection of the slip sheets is executed at a branch point delta between the strip m1 and the strip m2. As a result, the time for exchanging a slip sheet coil in a slip sheet unwinder is sufficiently assured. Then, the need for once stopping the continuous treating line for strips for the purpose of the operation to exchange the slip sheet coil is eliminated and, therefore, the operation rate of the line is improved.
