SAMPLER AND SAMPLING METHOD FOR ANALYTIC SAMPLE

PURPOSE:To enhance the reproducibility by providing a sample cover, a solvent feeder and a solvent collector thereby preventing external contamination at the time of surface sampling and suppressing the sampling error. CONSTITUTION:A liquid supply pump 5a is operated to inject a solvent from a solvent reservoir 6 through a tube 4a into a space defined by a sample cover 1 and a sampling surface 2a. The injection quantity is confirmed on the graduation of the reservoir 6. Upon elapse of an appropriate time, adherends and impurities are dissolved to condition a sample solution. A liquid supply pump 5b is then actuated to collect the conditioned sample solution into a sample collection vessel 7 through a tube 4b. The collected quantity is confirmed on the graduation of the vessel 7. This sampling method protects the solvent and the sample solution against external contamination when the sample is conditioned or transferred. Furthermore, since the sampling is conducted only at such part on the sampling surface 2a as applied with the cover 1, error is suppressed in the sampling area resulting in the enhancement of reproducibility.
