CIRCUIT AND METHOD FOR GENERATING PULSE FOR LINE SELECTING PULSE

PURPOSE: To provide a circuit for generating a row selection pulse and a system for driving it in the symmetric control system of an AC excitation thin film electroluminescent display. CONSTITUTION: This circuit is provided with a voltage supply source, ground, two control inputs of a pulse generating circuit, output for transmitting a row selection pulse to a display, and that for generating the row selection pulse with the opposite polarity to the ground. This is provided with an inductor L1 made resonate with a load capacitance, switch S1 for charging the load through the inductor 1, second switch S2 for increasing a line selection pulse amplitude to the full value, third switch S3 for discharging the storage energy of the load capacitance, prescribed inversion bias clamp diodes D1-D4 for recovering the energy stored in the inductance L1, and limiting the output voltage, and feedback circuit FB3 for turning-on and off from the output terminal of the inductance L1 to the switch S3.
