COPYING DEVICE CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To selectively designate a desired copying device and to surely prevent a communication demand from an illicit host computer by comparing collating information generated by a generating means with 2nd collating information received from the host computer. CONSTITUTION:A centralized control device 900 controls plural copying devices through one line. The collating information generated by a CPU 905 is compared with the 2nd collating information received from the host computer 904, and at least the communication between one or more copying devices and the host computer 904 is concentratively controlled based on the compared result by the CPU 905. Therefore, only by transmitting the 2nd collating information corresponding to the 1st collating information without causing the host computer 904 side to store physical connection information between the respective copying devices and the control device 900, the desired copying device is selectively designated and the communication demand from the illicit host computer is surely prevented.
