METHOD FOR SUPPORTING OPERATION OF SLUDGE TREATING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and ease of a knowledge acquiring operation and to rationalize question processing by forming knowledge information for inferring the cause for abnormality from cause investigation information enumerating the trouble states of sludge treating equipment and forming the knowledge information for question processing from hierarchized question information. CONSTITUTION:Extraction and rearrangement of experiment rules is formatted by using a PO matrix chart at the time of building the knowledge base of a diagnostic knowledge base system for supporting the operation of the sludge treating equipment. In making of the matrix chart, listing up of main consultation items is first executed and the abnormal conditions under which an apparatus does not achieve the processing object are picked up. The apparatus body and auxiliary machines are distinctly classified, and further, the main consultation items are divided in details and the more specific auxiliary consultation items are listed up. The causes are then developed and embodied to three stages; main causes, auxiliary causes and trouble causes. The question information is rearranged by referencing the auxiliary causes and the trouble causes. After a cause investigation chart and hierarchy diagnosis chart are formed, an answer document is formed by rearranging the explanations and counterplan of the respective trouble causes.
