HEAT PUMP PACKAGE

PURPOSE:To eliminate some disadvantages during defrosting operation while either a cold air blowing during the defrosting operation or a stopping of an indoor fan is prevented and its follow-up characteristic is being kept. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure pipe 15 for both a rated compressor 11 and an inverter compressor 13 is connected to an indoor heat exchanger 17. A liquid pipe 19 extending from the indoor heat exchanger 17 is divided into two pipes. To one of the two branch pipes are connected a first expansion valve 21 and an outdoor first heat exchanger 29. To the other branch pipe are connected a second expansion valve 23 and an outdoor second heat exchanger 31, and then they are connected to the rated compressor 11 and the inverter compressor 13. Bypassing pipes 37, 43, 49 and 55 bypassing the rated compressor 11, the inverter compressor 13, the first expansion valve 21 and the second expansion valve 23 are installed in each of the pipes and a solenoid valve 39 and the like are arranged in each of the pipes in such a way that their flow passages can be changed over.
