DEVICE FOR PUNCHING METAL SHEET

PURPOSE:To make a device for punching a metal sheet whooly compact by reducing by half the horizontal width of a gate for passing a material at the part for punching a metal sheet. CONSTITUTION:In the metal sheet punching device in which a metal sheet 21 to be punched is moved by the use of an X-table 17 and a Y-table 14 and in which a plural number of holes are punched at prescribed positions with a pair of punch 1 and die 3, the horizontal width L of the gate 5 for passing a material at the punching part 24 is reduced by half, by providing a means 25 for rotating the metal sheet by 180 deg. after a half area of the metal sheet 21 has been punched and by performing a punching on the remaining half area after the 180 deg. rotation, so that the device is made compact.
