Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an treating agent for synthetic fibers, with excellent heat resistance, ultimate compressibility, flexibility and lubricity and provide enhanced yield of the fiber production by reducing the end breakage and the formation of fluffs and wastes. CONSTITUTION:A treating agent contains a mixture occupying 90weight% or more of its total weight, which is prepared by combining (A) 65-80weight% of an esteric compound having a molecular weight of 600-1000, from dibasic fatty acid having no unsaturation, containing 20-50weight% of ethylen oxide, (B) 10-20weight% of a compound derived by the esterification of an adduct of a polyhydric alcohol with ethylene oxide, having a molecular weight of 800-1200, with stearic acid, and (C) 10-25weight% of an adduct of a hardened castor oil with ethylene oxide, having a molecular weight of 1200-3000.
