Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a method for processing a fabric in which an uneven pattern and a mottled dyed surface are simultaneously formed on the surface of the fabric. CONSTITUTION:A fabric is introduced into a device for pressurized shrinking or compressed shrinking processing of a fabric. In the process, yarn 13 in which a dyeing assistant such as a level dyeing agent, a resisting agent, discharging agent, a deep dyeing agent or a dyeability promoter is imparted with an applicator 11 is introduced simultaneously with a fabric 9 into the device for processing to embed the yarn in the surface of the fabric. The dyeing assistant of the yarn is then made to transfer and migrate to the fabric to form a recessed part in a part where the yarn is removed in the fabric. The dye is transferred or decolored in the peripheral part of the recessed part by the action of the dyeing assistant to discolor the peripheral part.
