Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an information setting and displaying apparatus of a camera, said apparatus can display to what value the presently set information may be changed in the case a rotary dial is rotated in a direction whichever direction it is in order to make a photographer recognize the information before he/she operates the rotary dial. CONSTITUTION:A ring-like rotary dial 32 is set in a camera body 12 in the way it can be rotated and adjusted and at the same time a first display panel 28A having three display regions 28a, 28b, 28c arranged in parallel along the inner circumference of the rotary dial 32 is installed in the inside of the rotary dial 32. In the center display region 28a, presently set values are displayed; in the upper side display region 28b, numerical values to be set in the case the rotary dial is rotated counterclockwise are displayed; and in the lower side display region 28c, numerical values to be set in the case the rotary dial is rotated clockwise are displayed.
