Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an action switching device of a thrust barrel in the folding machine of a rotary press facilitating the switching work of non-collect folding and collect folding and capable of improving workability. CONSTITUTION:A cam driving a needle and a thrust edge rockably supported on a thrust barrel 3 is constituted of a main cam 13a (14a) and an auxiliary cam 13b (14b) respectively, and it is fitted or removed by a clutch plate 34 (47) and a clutch boss 35 (48) capable of being attached or separated. When the phase between the main cam 13a (14a) and the auxiliary cam 13b (14b) is changed, non-collect folding and collect folding are switched.
