ADHESIVE TAPE CUTTER

PURPOSE:To provide an adhesive tape cutter with which an adhesive tape remaining after tape cutting is separated from a cutting edge side to be held at a constant position and made easy to be drawn out for next use. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive tape cutter consists of a casing 1 for housing a roll shape adhesive tape; a fixed part 2 formed integrally with the casing 1 at an aperture side and having a cutting edge receiving part 6 at a tip thereof; a movable part 3 pivotally fitted to the casing 1 to pivot relative to the fixed part 2 and having a cutting edge part 5 at a tip thereof; and a tape supporting member 4. The tape supporting member 4 is elastically pushed downward to be bent at the time of cutting a tape 10', and returns to a middle position after the cutting while separating the tape 10' from the cutting edge receiving part 6 by repulsive force. The tape 10' is made free at a tip thereof, stuck to the tape supporting member 4 at an intermediate part thereof, and retained at a stand-by position, thus facilitating tape delivery.
