Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition containing a polyphenylene sulfide having high crystallinity and a specific melting point, having high crystalllzation velocity giving a molded article having excellent heat-resistance and useful for thermal tools, electrical and electronic parts, etc. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition contains a high-melting polyphenylene sulfide having a melting point of >=350 deg.C. The polyphenylene sulfide preferably has the recurring unit of the formula and a degree of polymerization of 100-400. It can be produced by heat-treating polyphenylene resin powder derived from p-dichlorobenzene and sodium sulfide in nitrogen atmosphere under nitrogen pressure of 150atm at 290 deg.C for a whole day and night. A molded article having excellent heat-resistance can be molded at a low mold temperature.
