Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a solution preparation which contains free glutamic acid and is useful as a nutrient supplement on invasion, such as infection, injury, ambustion or the like and it can be effectively absorbed from the cells of enteric mucosa, thus is effective as an enteral feeding or transfusion solution. CONSTITUTION:This preparation contains free glutamic acid, preferably in an amount of 20-30 mole % based on the total amino acids in the composition. Other nutrients than free glutamic acid are, for example, a variety of amino acids, peptides, proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and the like. This preparation is preferably given to a patient enterally or intravenously at a dose of 800-2,000ml/day/adult.
