Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a method for press-molding an industrial honeycomb structural body into an arbitrary form, and the product thereof. CONSTITUTION:The honeycomb structural body is made of a cell which is in a form in which hollow pillars are crowded, that is, a diaphragm. When pressurization by a press is performed along the diaphragm, an accumulated crushed layer 4 wherein partial unit crushes are piled on one after another by a chain reaction coexists with a nonbuckling part 2 keeping honeycomb structure. Since the crushed layer 4 is compressed to an extent of one tenth of the original height, when the crushed layer 4 is made to build in the honeycomb structure, it can be molded into an arbitrary form by the press.
