Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce a load applied to the service brake of a vehicle when the energy accumulating operation of a braking energy regenerating device is stopped in order to prevent the seal deterioration owing to an overrising of the temperature of operating oil. CONSTITUTION:When the oil temperature detected by an oil temperature sensor 81 is more than a specific value, a clutch 21 is made in a disengaged condition under the control of a controller 4. When a brake pedal is depressed under such a condition, a retarder 83 is operated to control the braking under the control of the controller 4.
