IMAGE INFORMATION TRANSMISSION CONFIRMATION METHOD AND FACSIMILE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To attain efficient processing up to correction or the like automatically for image information of an order sheet or the like by selecting a proper processing for character recognition. CONSTITUTION:A side placing an order uses a facsimile equipment FAX;A1 to send an ordering slip to a side receiving the order through a communication line 3. The side receiving the order receives image data of the ordering slip by a facsimile equipment FAX;B2, sends the data to an OCR 4 via a controller 6, in which characters are recognized. Then the controller 6 receives the recognition result from the OCR 4 to generate a confirmation document, and it is sent to the side placing the order. The party receiving the order receives the confirmation sheet and confirms it as to whether or not the result of character recognition is correct and when the result of the recognition is wrong, the content of the confirmation sheet is corrected. The side receiving the order receives image data of the confirmation sheet and sends the data to the OCR 4 via the controller 6, in which characters are recognized.
