BELT HOLDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To keep the resistance of a conveying belt, which is caused when the belt is driven for revolution, revolution at a small value. CONSTITUTION:In a belt holding device used for a curved conveyor, beads 20, which are formed in the outer periphery of a looped conveying belt 2, are held by revolving bodies in a nipped manner, so that the movement of the conveying belt 20 toward the inner peripheral direction is prevented. The revolving body consists of a central revolving body 30, which is arranged among reciprocating routes of the looped conveying belt 2, an upper revolving body 31a, which is arranged on the upper side of an outward trip route of the conveying belt 2, and a lower revolving body 31b, which is arranged on the lower side of the return route of the conveying belt 2. The outward trip route is held between the upper revolving body 31a and the central revolving body 30, while the return route of the conveying belt 2 is central revolving body 30, while the return route of the conveying belt 2 is held by the lower revolving body 31b and the central revolving body 30.
