Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make it possible to agitate and mix materials continuously and efficiently. CONSTITUTION:In a process wherein materials charged from an inflow port 4 at one end in the axial direction are transferred to an outflow port 6 at the other end by a pair of multiblade helical rotors 10 disposed in a noncontact state in a casing 1 having a cocoon-shaped section, a shearing action and actions of compression and expansion are brought forth in the materials between the rotors 10 and the inner wall surface 2 of the casing and between the rotors 10 themselves and thereby the materials are agitated and mixed efficiently.
