Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent the stickiness of metal to the tip part of a nozzle and to enable the stable casting by arranging an electric supplying lead in the immersion part at the tip part of the nozzle through an insulating plate, immersing the nozzle, conducting the electric current together with casting and heating. CONSTITUTION:The nozzle 11 is composed of an electric conductive refractory in the whole body and one pair of the electric supplying lead parts 35, 39 are connected with bolts 48 along the side walls 17 in the narrow width beforehand through the insulating plate 4 at the lower end part of the nozzle 11. Further, the electric supplying lead parts 39 and the surface of the nozzle 11 immersed into the molten steel are coated with an oxidation inhibitor 50. At the time of starting the immersion casting, the electric current is conducted to the electric supplying lead part 35. The tip part 39 of the electric supplying lead part 35 generates Joule heat and the temp. is raised. Further, the downward force is generated in the molten steel by conducting the electric current into the molten steel through the meniscus with the electric supplying lead part 35 and the stickiness of the metal is prevented by developing the flow. |
