Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To detect the location and direction of a label phase with high precision by giving various treatments to a signal from a regressive reflection type optical sensor to detect the step of a label so that the signal is input to a controller for a battery rotating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from a regressive reflection type sensor 3 to a cylindrical battery 2 set up on a rotating mechanism 1 is reflected from the sensor 3, converted into analog output by a sensor amplifier 4 and input to a label phase detecting circuit 5. A signal asymmetrically waveformed by a label step is input to a noise filter 5a, its long cycle facial oscillation and direct current components are removed in a common mode and then noise is removed so that only a signal for step components is output. After the positive and negative phase of a signal due to different rotating directions are uniformed into the same direction in an absolute value converting circuit 5b, the signal is input to a step signal pulse control circuit 5c and adjusted to constant output and pulse width. The signal is input to a main controller 5e, an electromagnetic clutch for the mechanism 1 is controlled and a label phase is trimmed.
