Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an alarm display device which enables a user to intuitively recognize the state of a plant and a required countermeasure with respect to functional purposes of the plant even in the case of the frequent occurrence of an alarm. CONSTITUTION:Monitor data from a plant 10 is inputted, and the abnormal state is discriminated by an abnormality discriminating means 12, and, if abnormality is detected, the abnormality is displayed on an individual alarm display part 15 of a display device 14. A function hierarchy display part 18 is provided on which function elements obtained by fractionalizing the functions of the plant are hierarchized by functional causal relationships and are displayed, and a function abnormality discriminating means 16 discriminates the function abnormality of a function element part, to which the abnormality corresponds, and the abnormality is displayed in the pertinent function element part.
