Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To keep many film cartridges altogether and to instantly retrieve and extract the aimed film cartridge. CONSTITUTION:Many cartridge housing parts 26 are provided in a film cartridge storing box 20, and the film cartridge having a semiconductor memory where retrieval information is recorded is stored there. A retrieval terminal part 22 is connected to the storing box 20, and the aimed film cartridge is extracted from many stored film cartridges by inputting the retrieval information from the keyboard 32 of the terminal part 22. Namely, when the retrieval information recorded in the semiconductor member in the film cartridge and the retrieval information are compared and the aimed film cartridge is selected, a light emitting diode 28 provided in the vicinity of the storing part 26 in which the film cartridge is stored is lighted, whereby a user is informed of a position where the aimed film cartridge is stored.
