Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a structure of an incinerator in which a sufficient air flow can be assured at a rostle and a rapid combustion can be accomplished by a method wherein items to be ignited are prevented from being overlapped on a rostle in a flat form manner by projections at an upper surface of the rostle even if the flat items to be ignited are dropped. CONSTITUTION:In an incinerator in which items to be ignited such as refuse or the like are ignited on a rostle 2 and ashes after ignition are removed from below the rostle, many projections 9 having different lengths are arranged to project upwardly in a random manner at the upper surface of the rostle 2.
